翻訳メモリとは、原文と翻訳を一対としてデータベース化し、その内容を自動的に繰り返し利用することで翻訳を支援するソフトウェアである。
試行錯誤しながら使用中。一度訳した文書の更新や、訳す分野が同じ/似ていてコーパスが充実してるのなら役に立ちそう。例えばmozilla-japanの翻訳プロジェクトで、コーパスを共同で作ってシェアすれば語句の統一や効率的な翻訳が可能かもしれない。業界標準のTMXファイルもサポートしているのでwindowsユーザーとも共同作業ができるはずだ。
これの使い方を書こうかと思ったんだけど、そもそも翻訳をしようなんて人なら英語で書かれている本体付属のユーザーズガイドも十分読みこなせるだろうから必要ないよな。

こちらはウェブページ専用の翻訳エディタ。HTMLタグを目にすることなく翻訳作業を行うことができる。まだまだ機能も少なくてこれからって感じだが、予定としては翻訳メモリの機能もいれるようなので楽しみ。Windows版もある。
