このドメイン、tekapo.comのホスティング（またの名をレンタルサーバー）会社をiPowerWebからDreamHostに変えた。
乗り換えた直接の理由は、あるメーリングリストで特定の人からのメールが届いていなかったことが判明したからだ（その後別のMLからも届いていなかったことが判明）。まぁもしかしたらこれはiPowerWebのせいではないのかもしれないが、その前にもここ一年ほどでメールアカウントが消えたり、しばらくサイトにつながらなかったり、自分のせいではないのに「サーバの容量が少なくなったから別のサーバにコンテンツを移せ」と言われたりで、いい加減うんざりしていた。そこに今回の「なぜか特定の人からのメールが届いていなかった」件が発覚し、衝動的にDreamHostに乗り換えてしまったわけだ。
まだ使い始めたばかりなのでなんともいえないが、とりあえず今の時点でDreamHostに乗り換えて良かった点は：
- 追加料金無しでホストできるドメインの数が無制限（iPowerWebは6個？- ページによって言ってることが違う！）
- 追加料金無しでMySQLデータベースの数が無制限（iPowerWebは５個。最初に契約したときは無制限だったのに！）
- サーバの管理画面からインストールできるWordPressが最新版の2.0.5（iPowerWebは2.0.2）
- WebDAVが使える（iPowerWebでは設定できない）
- 障害情報用のサイトがある（iPowerWebではこちらからたずねないと分からない！っと思ったら非常に分かりにくいとこにあった）
- 容量が200G、、、おいらのMac miniよりも多い、、そんなに使わないけど、（iPowerWebは５０G）
