最近は何かを訳すときにはOmegaTを使うようにしてるんだけど、なかなかイイ感じ。AppleTransは全然アップデートされる気配が無いけど、OmegaTはオープンソースでまだまだ開発が続きそうなんで乗り換えるようと思ってる。そこでもっと使いやすいようにとglossary機能について調べたら可知さんのサイトが見つかった。
glossaryに使うファイルはCSV（コンマで分ける）の親戚のTSV（タブで分ける）形式で、「原文(タブ)訳語(タブ)コメント」を記述したテキストファイルとのこと。試しにSunの翻訳用語集SunGloss ((Sunの翻訳用語集SunGlossについても上記の可知さんの解説記事で説明があります)) からダウンロードしたCSVファイルをOOoのCalc（表計算）で加工したところ、あっさり使えた！こんな感じ。
手順を簡単に：
- グロッサリをダウンロード
- ダウンロードしたcsvファイルを表計算ソフト（お勧めはもちろんOOo）で読込み
- 必要ない列を削除
- テキストフィールドの区 切りをタブにしてcsvで保存
- 拡張子を.utf8に変更
- 該当のオメガプロジェクトのglossaryフォルダに入れる
要はグロッサリファイルから余計なものを削除してコンマをタブに置換すればオッケー。
ただ、残念なのは完全に一致する単語しか表示してくれないこと。名詞の複数形や動詞の変化形は判断してくれないので語句そのものが登録されていないと表示してくれない。例えば原文に複数形の「books」とあった場合、glossaryファイルに単数形の「book」が登録されていても「books」が登録されていないと何も表示してくれない。
