OS9の時代から使い続けてきたCopyPasteがたまに挙動がヘンなのとなかなかUniversal化されないのでその代替を探してみた。
希望は：
- コピー履歴からのペースト
- 定型文のペースト
- UniversalもしくはIntelMacネイティブソフト
- できればフリー
DPSさんとOSX Freewaresさんを拠点に探したところ（お二方ともありがとうございます）、コピー履歴ペースト機能で希望通りのが見つかり、定型文のペーストはいくつか試用した後、結局「ことえり」の単語登録でいくことに決定。
コピー履歴からのペースト : jumpcut
文句なし、簡単便利。起動さえすればあとはコピーの履歴を記録してくれて、必要な時にメニューバーから該当の履歴を選べばペーストされる。英語だけど機能はこれだけなので使い方に迷うことも無い。あえて欠点をあげるとすればメニューバーのアイコンが地味なことくらいかな。
定型文のペースト : 「ことえり」の単語登録
使い方は「ことえり」のメニューから「単語登録/単語編集…」を開いて「よみ」と「単語」を登録するだけ。
例えば、「よみ」に「めーる」と入れ「単語」に自分のメルアドの一つを入れる。さらに「よみ」は同じ「めーる」で「単語」に別のメルアドを入れ登録。こうするとキーボードで「めーる」と打って変換すれば、複数の自分のメルアドから一つを選んで簡単に入力することができる。この方法でコマンドも登録すればターミナルでも使える。
「ことえり」の単語登録にたどり着くまでに試したのは以下の３個
- Textpander – 気に入ってたんだけど有料化されてしまい断念
- ClipMasterCM – 最初は「これだっっ！」と思ったんだけど Firefox で使用できないことが判明し断念
- ShelfMenu – 使い方がちょっとわかりにくいけど悪くない。でも私には「ことえり」の単語登録で必要十分なことが判明し却下
